My Friend Alexa 2020

October is here and I plan to write. Oops, write but what?

Yes, the mind is locked, clueless, and scattered one at the same time.

Here comes October when Alexa also walks along.

Ahh! you don’t know what is Alexa arey fikar not.

Will help you to clear your doubts to open few knots.

Who’s Alexa?

“Hey, Alexa, please tell my blog temperature?”

Oops!

Oh no, no it’s not Alexa the gadget that will help. You need to nurture and nourish your blog a bit to understand this Alexa.

My Blog is my ikigai. So, it’s worth spending little time to nourish its ranking and health, isn’t it?

So Alexa what’s my Alexa rank?

Ahhh

Yes, maybe that Alexa can just tell you your place but to improve you need to work on your blog and create something to read.

I stand at 749,364 today and hope to improve it this October with Blogchatter’s #MyFriendAlexa.

So Alexa please tell me what exactly is Alexa?

In simple words, Alexa ranking or Alexa is the measure of your website/ blog’s popularity based on comparison with other lakhs of sites in quantity, traffic, and more similar parameters.

And the point to note is Alexa ranking is not ‘more is better’, yes it’s ‘less is better’. The closer you get to number 1 you are growing better and healthier. It helps you to know your engagement and traffic health. Helps to make your site more popular and ways to reach more audience.

Well, So how to begin?

Register with a good platform, Like I have done with Blogchatter, and start writing.

What to write is always hovering on our minds, So, just check the 8 requirements before you draft a post.

Have Alexa extension on your browser and check the ranking too.

What to write?

Ahh, theme and planning and approach. I seem to be missing it all in this lockdown.

But it’s good to have a theme for all 8 posts you plan to write.

Where do I start?

Theme reveal or not, no I’m not sure.

It’s like I take October as an opportunity to express my random, chaotic, scattered, and varied thoughts in a poetic way.

Osuum October makes me think about many topics. My jumbled mind finds solace in writing poetry or prose. So this October I plan to write 8 poems/ prose expressing my chaotic mind filled with loads of thoughts.

I seem to be,

more connected to,

rhythmic poetic lines these days,

as they help express me,

in simple subtle ways…

Be it how we sailed in this pandemic,

to India as a country today,

to humanity and

sustainable living practices too…

I plan to rhyme in some

or the other way…

I press my thought in poems,

in some rhymes,

and some expressions.

Writing a post is not difficult,

but somewhere

the poem just help me

say it all

In one place

In one go

In one flow

to show

what matters

in mind and

in one of its kind

Before I wind up let me help you one more thing too. Blogchatter now rolls with blogrolls so when you submit a post you have to roll. No, no not on the grass or mat but on the site with your blog.
