SonDay cleaning my wardrobe

Once again it’s time to share the load and this time it’s my candies who are helping me to clean the wardrobe too. I was out for a whole month because of an ongoing event/ conference. Once it got over I can sense the wardrobe was calling me to let it breathe. I just shared this to my kiddo that this Sunday I need to re-arrange my almirah and so I will finish the kitchen chores bit early. And then came a hola shout from my brats that don’t worry mom we are here to help you.

My first reaction was noooooo a big nooooo cause I thought if I involve them it will be only chaos. But then I decided to give it a try, as it is wardrobe was in mess so why not take a chance, a few hours and I will get to know what’s going to happen.

Things got more scattered at the beginning but slowly with little instructions elder M was a great help to me. I had never imagined all these years my boys will once grow up big boys and will help me too like I used to do to my mom.

Thank you, Ariel, for bringing up such Son-full activities, that brought Son’s out of the typical image and helped moms all over to prove they can also #sharetheload.

I know kids especially boys create a mess in rooms very easily, but then as a mother, we can always motivate and teach them.

Sunday – SonDay

Now next Sunday is their own cupboard and I’m strictly asked to stay out of it. I find this wardrobe cleaning a fun activity, especially in on-going summer vacations. I have seen and heard parent cribbing when its vacation time. This vacation time is best for this kind of activity to be done with kids.

Yes, I am proud that I am teaching my sons to share the load not just with mom but with other members too. My kids help in watering plants, laying tables, cleaning cars, etc too. Arranging the wardrobe is something I feel every kid should learn. The reason being when they fly high and leave home for a better future, its something they need to know.

I am participating in the #ShareTheLoad movement and for the next four Sundays. Ariel has one new task every Sunday and I pledge to #ShareTheLoad in household chores in association with Ariel and BlogAdda.
