Book Review – Healthy Eating For Busy Moms
Healthy Eating For Busy Moms
First of all, thanks surbhi for bringing a book exclusively for moms. I rarely see books exclusively for mom and that too on eating. I’m a big foodie and it was a pleasure to see your book about healthy eating for busy moms. Seems like the book was meant for me (us) only.
What’s in the book?
I loved the cover of the book a lot, very bright and tempting. The cover itself showcases a healthy fruit and nut bowl, which I take as a power breakfast.
The book has Collection of easy to make and healthy nutritious recipes in A2Z format. The recipes are simple and made with easily available-at-home ingredients. The best part is she has focussed on sharing the health benefits of main and other ingredients of the recipe. Along with that healthy eating tips, and meal prep ideas are using on the top. This book will help busy moms (and busy individuals) in maintaining a healthy eating pattern even with a hectic lifestyle and a busy schedule.
Above all, I loved how she has listed all the recipes with importance of the main ingredient, nutritional values, important tips, and benefits too. All the recipes are easy to make in less time, keeping in mind certainly the busy moms.
Why this Book?
It’s not any other cookbook but a great book with yummy and especially healthy recipes. What I loved is these are all homemade daily made recipes just that we don’t realize the nutritional importance of it. Like idli with a twist, leftover laziz paratha, veg Dalia, handvo, wheat flour sweets, all these I often make at home but seem sI missed the nutritious side of these dishes.
Similarly, Some recipes like moong bean sandwiches, multigrain pancakes, are worth a try as they are filled with healthy ingredients. Language is simple and all recipes are easy to understand.
I haven’t tried quinoa pulav and energy buddha bowl ever, so these were really one-pot meal recipes I will surely be trying. We are multitasking moms, we are on our toes and what we miss is that nutritious supplement for ourselves sometimes. We are busy in feeding our kids the best and healthy what we forget is we too need it in draining energies.
In other words, This book is worth reading for all those looking for healthy eating options, all the moms and females looking for nutritious eats in their daily food. Love Indian food and cooking it too, then this book is worth experimenting with all the recipes.
In conclusion, Top 10 healthy tips for moms is an additional beneficial chapter of the book. Even the chapter with Ultimate meal-prep ideas for busy moms is really a good read. Easy-to-do tips for busy moms. Another great read is the chapter which gives a glimpse of the life of moms and how they add that healthy and nutritious add on’s in their meals.
