A short poem on the beauty of Perseid Meteor Shower

In Mid August, the night sky is going to witness some beautiful illuminating wonderful creations of nature. The Perseid meteor shower is back, with its luminescence. Perseid Meteor Shower is an annual event that takes place every August. Perseids are one of the brighter meteor showers of the year. It’s made of tiny space debris from the comet Swift-Tuttle, the Perseids are named after the constellation Perseus. The Perseids, are considered the best meteor shower of the year. Above all, the best part is that no special equipment, or knowledge of the constellations, needed to enjoy them. You just have to be observant and watch from midnight to dawn.

On the first day, my sky turned cloudy and I missed its glimpse. The eagerness to watch and experience this nature’s wonder made me weave some words to frame poetry in love for meteor showers, hope you like it.

They splatter as they fall
Creating a brighter flash as a fireball
A bright streak of light
As a ray of hope in the night
Traveling at about 37 miles per second
They appear and move in styles so different

You carry a part of comet swift Tuttle
You hurtle through space like a shuttle
Darkness enhances your beauty
You are magic on duty.

You shine bright in the night sky
A night shower, up above and so high
Your travel is an amazing expression
You are nature’s beautiful creation

You are not a regular sight,
A dusty glow spreading celestial light
A heavenly tail of luminescence
You are a dream and hope in your own essence
Holding on to infinite wishes
You glow and spread blisses
Oh dear meteor shower you are the muse for this writer
