Mothers are best jugglers and a judge too.

mother plays multiple roles in a child’s development, as she is a teacher in every aspect of a child’s developmental growth – social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and independence. I feel Mothers are the best jugglers, they know multitasking and management too.

Today on the day of Letter “J” let’s find out the roles moms play in the journey of motherhood.

In the first place, one can’t deny that mothers are perfect jugglers. If you are a mother or even if you had seen some mother you sure have noticed how she is multitasking and doing so many tasks at one time. She works 24*7*365 without salary or leaves. And when you are a working mother the juggling doubles up. Trying to balance homeschooling, working from home, special needs parenting, me-time, and my relationship seem like an impossibility. But mothers still manage their best. They master the juggle. We can and must not compare ourselves to another. A mother’s juggle differs from circumstances, temperaments, and family support, spouses, and our children are all factors in what and how we are juggling.

In other words, God has given us each, our own juggling act. We can’t look at others to see what they are juggling.  We need only to be concerned about our own juggling.  Are you happy with what you are juggling?  Are you juggling too much?  Many women will fall into this trap.  We keep adding things to our juggling and soon find ourselves tired, stressed, and really not juggling well.  A good juggler knows her limitations.  A good mother prays to God to guide her decisions.

Of course, each day has only limited waking hours. One of the temptations in our quest for balance is to try to give equal time to all our responsibilities and interests every day. Mothers know best how to manage and plan. Your head can spin if you start researching and discovering the opinions of others as to finding balance in motherhood. They might fail but they won’t stop trying. As women enter motherhood I feel they get the juggling techniques by default. They become more aware of the juggling techniques in daily life. Most women are naturally good at juggling, and motherhood just makes it perfect.

Judge Mom {daily court appearances}

I’m a mother of two boys, ask me what it is to be a judge. After every small interval, I’m being a referee and judging among who is right and who is wrong. How and why things happened and whom should be held responsible. Sometimes I have to be tricky, sometimes I need to be cruel too. Sometimes I take sides and sometimes I have to be neutral too.

Janitor

The dictionary meaning says – a person employed to take care of a large building, such as a school, and who deals with the cleaning, repairs, etc… Do I say more? I know it’s wrong to call her cleaner, but isn’t she taking care of the building we call the house and keeping it clean and intact. Mom in the role of a Janitor is a person whose job is to look after a building aka house. She is the one who looks after the maintenance and cleaning of a public building. If I call her a janitor it is out of respect as they are the most hardworking, caring, and kind humans.
