Mother is an investigator and even an imagination engineer too.

As soon as we are in the role of a mother, we pick up so many roles we have never ever imagined. One such role is the mother being an investigator and even an imagination engineer too. Today is Alphabet I in my series Mom’s Be Everything. Beyond imagination, we become investigators, haha that makes us home holmes.

Investigator

How do moms know where and what is happening? Have you ever wondered about this feeling while growing up, or even did your child ever said this to you. Amusingly my younger one asks me – How do you know this. He asks me, how you were aware of what I was doing? In reply, I simply smile and say I’m your mother I know you well.

Kids find it irritating sometimes when moms act as investigators, I agree. You don’t get that personal space you so desperately want. You get caught doing mischief and all other unacceptable things which you, under normal circumstance, would have easily got away with. She would know who you are dating, whether you are attending classes or not. She has information on whether you are studying or not and a lot of other things. But that’s what moms are for, isn’t it? To take care of and protect you in every possible way.

Not only this, Mother being an investigator, she is also finder of all the missing things. She is the questioner when there is a fight or crayon on the walls. she is good as an examiner of things such as poop/ phlegm (and all those fun things!). Moms can give a good chase to any detective I feel. She seems to have two more eyes at the back too, isn’t it?

Well, technically my mom is not a detective, but, if she is one. I am pretty sure she would be among Sherlock Holmeses and Watsons or even Vyomkesh Bakshi of the detective world. Three cheers to the detective moms who have investigative skills beyond imagination.

She will ALWAYS put your interests ahead of her own.

Imagination artist/ engineer

So mothers have to think a lot and that makes her a great imagination artist. She is also a professional artist who knows how to paint all the things, the game maker, the creative wizard.

Mothers can bring the best creativity and imagination from their children. As parents especially mothers we need to grow together and encourage kids’ imaginations. Creativity is not just about a creative project, but rather a way of life.

“Most things are good, and they are the strongest things, but there are evil things too, and you are not doing a child a favor by trying to shield him from reality. The important thing is to teach a child that good can always triumph over evil.”
— Walt Disney
