MoM – the wonder woman, wake up alarm, and the world changer

WoW MoM as I always call mothers, which means Woman of Wonders. MoM – the wonder woman is someone we look up to for each and everything. It’s amusing to see, how she manages all the things, how she knows everything. Today on day 23, with letter W let’s check out roles moms play from being a wake-up alarm to wet nurse, even being a world changer to wardrobe stylist too.

W – World Changer

Perhaps the most underrated task a mother fulfills is that of a world-changer. Society is a mere 20 years from anarchy or continued civilization. It takes 20 years to raise a child, 20 years to “civilize them” or let them fall into anarchy, 20 years to raise children of character, integrity, and compassion, or children of deceit, selfishness, and indifference. A mother plays a great role in this training. Mothers change the world with every child they raise.
Let’s all send out a big “thank you” to all our Moms, the real-life impactors…the world changers of our society!

Wake up alarm

Since I remember from my childhood days, my alarm was only my mom. Daily school, or exam time, playtime, or milk time, even when we grow up be it an office meeting or get together, moms are the alarms we grew up with.

My mom is like an alarm clock.
She wakes me up every morning.
She doesn’t go beep, beep, beep…
Instead, she yells, “If you don’t come down in one minute, you’ll be late for school!”

Can you relate to this? The best alarm clock in the world is your Mom. If you ask her to wake you up at 7, she will wake you up at 6 saying it’s 8. Check this fun alarm of mom’s cooking sound when you select mom mode in it.

Wet nurse

Ek hota hai nurse, aur ek hota hai wet nurse. Hey don’t laugh at it, this role consists of all duties related to wet ingredients. Like filling and refilling those water and milk bottles. checking and cleaning the feeder from our bodies, the makers of milk, every time that cry is about to come. When traveling, Oh! the first thing is a wet nurse who prepares milk, water, and juice bottles. Not only this, but she also ensures to carry cold as well as hot water both. Another main task being a wet nurse is to pump the liquid gold, especially in the case of working moms she has to ensure she leaves behind this liquid gold for her child when she is away. Let me tell you pumping and filling is not at all an easy task as easy as it may sound to you.

Toddler Wrestling Coach

Not all moms but yes few had this role to play. I often experience small harmless fights with kiddo just for fun. This is when we are acting as if we are getting hit by them. We let them win the game and that’s the whole about it. The small punches and hits which they practice on a dummy called mummy are the moments we are in the role of a wrestling coach.

Wardrobe Stylist

She is not only checking and updating your Wardrobe but also this role consists of changing your client’s clothes several times a day. Tired? well, no option if the clothes are dirty, wet, soiled they certainly need a change, and clothes changing is an unending exercise if you are a mom of a toddler.

“Stand aside for a while and leave room for learning, observe carefully what children do, and then, if you have understood well, perhaps teaching will be different from before.”
— Loris Malaguzzi
