Mirror of Memories
The mirror is set out by packers with other memories that need to be handled with care!
The glimpse in the mirror and it all came rolling in front of my eyes like a movie, I still can’t believe is this the same place where it all happened.
Is this where they were trapped and we never realized? The police put do not enter and crime scene tape.
Will it be same serene scene if I return later? Will I be ever able to forget what was beneath this cottage? I leave with loads of questions and mirror of memories and bid the final goodbye.
Thanks to Nathan Sowers and Dawn M. Miller for this week’s picture prompt.
Linking with Friday Fictioneers a weekly 100-word writing challenge inspired by a picture prompt. Congratulations to our gracious host, Rochelle, on her new book – A Stone For The Journey.
I liked the idea of the mirror packed with memories before shipping
Thanks
Quite a catchy one.
Thanks
I don’t feel this scene is ever going to be peaceful for the narrator again.
yes you are right, even if we try to forget memories are like sticky notes
I was going to say the same as Jilly. Thanks, Jilly 🙂
Dear Pragun,
Too many memories for serenity to return to the scene. Nicely done. Welcome to Friday Fictioneers and thank you re my new book.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Thanks rochelle, it was my pleasure to be part of friday fictioneers.
A very scary tale indeed. Something all to ‘real-like’ to its quality. Sometimes, we are shocked by what happens in other places so near to our own.
Yes life is uncertain and unpredictable.
Welcome to Friday Fictioneers Pragun! Methinks there will no longer be serenity with that one.
Thanks, yes you are right its like haunted memory
Welcome to Friday Fictioneers! Nicely done.
Thanks, my pleasure
Haven’t read much of your fiction work, Pragun. Must say, you write well. The protagonist is not going to be at peace, whether comes back or not. After all, the mirror of memories is there to remind…
Thanks for appreciating, my fiction is still in my diaries yet to frame & move ahead.
Will wait to read😊
