Four Corners of the World

The four corners, The four compass points, in the center of which lies trees, forests, rivers, mountains the so called beginning of this world point.

It is believed that Mount Kailash, the Home of Lord shiva, which is known for its faith, religious values, hope, strength is beileved to be in center of the Earth. Which spreads the message of love and faith in all corners of the world.
According to refrences of a narrative in the Puranas, it is said that each face of Mount Kailash is made of a different Jewel.
Crystal, Ruby, Gold and Lapis Lazuli on all four sides.
The north is gold, the south is Lapis Lazuli, the east is crystal and the west is ruby.
It is also said that the four faces of Kailash depicts four different emotions. Mysterious, compassion, Strength, Magic, splendor, etc.
The spiritual center of the universe, four sheer faces marking the cardinal points of the compass.  Both geography and mythology play roles in the sacred significance of Mount Kailash.
The area around this great mountain is the source of four life-giving rivers; the Indus, Brahmaputra, Surlej and Karnali, which is a major tributary of India’s sacred Ganges
It is believed to have existence of the super-natural in whatever form – higher intelligence, power, or energy on Moutn Kailash. Many counties, travelers and people are always and till date interested to find more about this highest power, the axis mundi, the most powerful place, the hidden secret in whatever form it exists.
It’s the crux of Four corners of the World, the pillar of the world.
