Every day on my walk, I meet this twin Ashoka tree—
the most dramatic duo in the neighbourhood.
One trunk leans left, the other leans right,
yet together they rise like they’re trying to form
a mathematical lambda (λ)
or maybe practicing a yoga asana I will never master.

They look like two siblings who started growing in opposite directions
but eventually remembered they share the same roots—
so now they reunite at the top
like, “Fine… let’s at least look coordinated from the head upward.”

There’s something oddly adorable about their shape—
a mix of geometry, gossip, and gentle chaos.
Every time I pass by, they seem to say,
“Click another photo, human.
We know we’re fabulous.”
And so I do—
because how often does nature grow a tree
that’s part poetry, part comedy,
and part math equation?
Its uniqueness makes me click its picture every time i walk this part of Delhi.
Not because it’s rare, but because it’s a quiet reminder—
that nature wears quirks proudly,
that beauty isn’t always perfect,
and that even the most ordinary roads can hold small wonders if we choose to look.
