Panchtatwa Girl brings you yet another eco-friendly episode in Praguntatwa talks My Green Podcast. In today’s episode of Green Talks, let’s hear the views of today’s teenager who is aware and conscious and tell more about how to Know your plastic.

Plastics are everywhere – in biscuit wrappers, milk packets, toys, and even food containers, in soaps, cosmetics, detergent packaging, and household utensils too. While some plastics are Eco-friendly, others contain harmful chemicals or cause dangerous pollution during manufacturing.

Plastic isn’t as simple as you may think. Each plastic around you is different from the other. Some of them are reusable, some are not, and some produce hazardous material even after several uses. Some are easily recyclable, others need more intricate handlings in their recycling process. We are all surrounded by plastic and It’s just impossible to avoid plastics altogether, but you can look for plastics that are safer for your family and the environment. So have you ever thought about how to know your plastic??

Well today I have a teenage guest who knows her plastic, yes she has done a course – Know your plastic by RNisarg foundation. To know more about this course and her views tune into my green podcast.

Anandita is a bookaholic too, she has her Instagram book club which she calls a safe place to read, discuss and make memories.     We must know about the plastic we are using. I wasn’t aware of the course to learn about the plastics, thanks to Anandita. As Alpana said, we need such ‘young talents’ to save our Earth.

      Indeed it’s important to know our plastic, as not all plastic is bad, we need to understand the difference between good and bad plastics. Thanks for appreciating, yes young talents are the future of tomorrow.

  3. It is heartening to know that the younger generation is aware of the effects of pollution, and the harm that plastic is creating. We need more and more podcasts, blogs, and other awareness forum to fight the menace of plastic and other pollutants.

  4. Our Earth needs to be saved and it is these steps that will contribute to the saving of the planet. I have also stopped the usage of plastic toothbrushes and have shifted to bamboo ones.
