Composting is a fantastic way to turn everyday kitchen and garden waste into nutrient-rich soil, helping the planet and improving your garden. Here’s how you can start:
1. Choose Your Composting Method
- Outdoor Composting: Ideal for gardens. Use a bin or make a pile in a shaded spot.
- Indoor Composting: Use a compact compost bin with a lid for smaller spaces.
- Vermicomposting: Let worms do the work! They break down organic waste into high-quality compost.
2. What to Compost
✅ Green Materials (Nitrogen-rich):
- Vegetable and fruit scraps
- Coffee grounds and tea leaves
- Grass clippings
