Jam and Bread pudding is always a hit with kids.

Jam roll is one easy way to load fruit power and roti in a box.
Jam Rolls have such a dainty appearance that you cannot resist grabbing one! Like open sandwiches, the unique selling proposition of Jam Rolls is that you can see what is inside, due to the exciting spiral shape in which it is cut – this makes the rolls totally irresistible. I even make jam roll with chapatis. A more filling and healthier option.

ingredients:
Eggs – 2
2 tbsp powdered sugar for sprinkling
All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1 cup
Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
Warm Water – 2 tbsp
Mixed fruits jam, 2 tbsp
Icing Sugar or Powdered sugar for sprinkling
Butter at room temperature
Method:
Preheat oven to 190 Degree Celcius, grease a baking tray or swiss roll tin(aluminum tin tray) with butter, place a butter paper of the same size on it and apply butter on that as well. Now sprinkle it with some flour and set it aside.
Now, in a deep bowl take eggs in a bowl and beat till fluffy, then add sugar and beat till its fluffy again. You can use beater if needed or whisker.
Add in vanilla and warm water and beat till fluffy.
Now add the plain flour, ensure you sieve flour 2-3 times and fold very gently till it is well combined, or beat lightly.
Now transfer the batter by pouring this in our greased pan and spread evenly.
Bake this for 10 mins at 200 deg cel.
Remove it and let it cool for 2 mins.
sprinkle some powdered sugar or icing sugar on a flat surface, then loosen the sides of the cake and flip the cake over, peel off the butter paper carefully.
Apply the jam evenly all over it and carefully roll the cake from one side to another to form a roll.
Place this in a tray, cut in equal size and sprinkle with icing sugar.
Slice and ready to go in tiffins.

Coming to Jalapeno Poppers

Also lately I tried a new recipe which is Jalapeno Popper and to my surprise my elder kiddo loved it. So make sure of your kid’s taste buds, the younger kids may like it but for toddlers avoid it. Jalapenos are small, green or red in color and moderately spicy. Jalapeños are commonly used in Mexican cuisine but popular worldwide. They’re also packed with nutrients and have many health benefits.

These jalapeño poppers are stuffed with a fresh, herbed cream cheese mixture and topped with loads of cheddar cheese to get that golden touch. They are delicious, and not greasy at the same time. You will surely love it. click here for the recipe
