Wrap – Paneer And Veg
Homemade chocolate wafers
Ingredients
300 gm cooking/ compound chocolate (take milk chocolate and dark chocolate both in equal quantities) wafers of any flavor
Method
Melt cooking/ compound chocolate in a double boiler or in a microwave on 50% power of heat.
Smoothen and even the hot chocolate on a smooth surface.
It’s called tempering.
What is tempering? Tempering chocolate is an essential step for making smooth, glossy, evenly colored coating for your dipped chocolates. Tempering prevents the dull grayish color and waxy texture that happens when the cocoa fat separates out. Tempered chocolate produces a crisp, satisfying snap when you bite into it.
Finally, dip the wafer in this melted chocolate and put them carefully on a tray and let them cool. else put them in the freezer for 10 mins, you can sprinkle cut dry fruits if you wish. wafers are ready to go in tiffins.
Paneer And Veg Wrap
Infused with proteins, vitamins, and fiber, this is one delicious wrap your child simply cannot refuse.
Ingredients:
For the stuffing: Paneer, capsicum, tomato, onion, curd, ginger-garlic paste, gram flour, garam masala, red chili powder, chaat masala, Kasturi methi, coriander powder, oil, salt to taste.
For the wrap: Whole wheat or multigrain flour, water, salt, oil.
Steps: –
- Knead the dough by mixing the ingredients for the wrap together.
- Set aside for at least 20 minutes.
- Dice the paneer and vegetables. Place them in a bowl.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients together to form a marinade.
- Coat the paneer and vegetables with this marinade. –
- Cover the bowl of marinated vegetables with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Heat up a pan and pour 1 tbsp of oil into it.
- Saute the marinated vegetables in the pan for 5 minutes.
- Take the pan off the flame, pour few drops of lemon juice, and mix well.
- Now take the dough, divide it into the required number of chapati balls and roll them out with a rolling pin.
- Roast the chapati on a pan.
- Adding oil to the chapati is optional (but it does make it extra tasty).
- Place the prepared stuffing on the center of the chapati and spread it in a line.
- You can add some sliced onions as well.
- Roll it up from both sides.
- Pack in tiffin with tomato sauce or chutney of choice.

A paneer and veg wrap would be an awesome choice for a tiffin actually 🙂
Yes and mom’s favorite as we can hide a lot of healthy veggies too inside.

Hey Pragun, paneer wrap is a very good option. I like, all the family members at home love paneer wrap. But I fear to try to make it at home. Your recipe seems to be easy. Let’s try.
Glad you like it, yes its easy to make and fun to it.
Waffles are my true love.
Same here, the chocolate ones specially
The paneer wrap looks yummy Pragun. You sorted my weekend , I am going to try the wrap and waffle too.

Glad you like the tiffin, enjoy wraps and waffle over the weekend.
it reminded me of wafer biscuits we use to have in childhood
Yes, it’s similar to that only.
You have included two of my son’s favorite items – watermelon and waffles. The boy loves watermelon juice and he can eat waffles with chocolate sauce forever.
Glad tuneer loves the tiffin

Thanks you liked the tiffin, warqi paratha is like layered laccha paratha only
Yum yum yum 🙂
The paneer wraps look good and are a convenient and interesting way to eat. Waffles are loved by kids and they would love to have it any day in their lunch box. Warqi parantha is a layered paratha, right?
Mmmmmm!!! Lovely tiffin ideas with W. Wish I had these ideas when my kids were small.
But we can always use these ideas for snacks right??
Thanks, you liked the Tiffin, Yes, of course, all are best snacking and tea time options.
