The letter G and what it brought with it.

Okay so day 7 brings us to the “G” Gyan

Alphabet, 3D Albhabet, Letters, Color

Words that entered our life were –

“Glam-ma”

Definition: a glamorous grandmother, especially one who is relatively young or fashion-conscious.

“Glamping”

Definition: a form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping.

Go-Cup

Anything that’s packaged to help you sip on the go is essential. Whether it’s plastic or paper or holds coffee or alcohol, this is the ultimate container for almost any activity.

Ghost Pepper

If your mouth is already on fire, you’ve probably tried (or seen near-countless people try) the super-spicy chili pepper from southern Asia. Bhut jolokia is another word for it, and that wording is also featured in the dictionary update.

Goldilocks

This one has nothing to do with porridge. Now, Merriam-Webster recognizes it as astronomers’ description of a planet that isn’t too hot or cold and can support life.

Gig Economy

The rise in freelancing or working temporarily is all part of a sharing economy, which is also called a gig economy.

Ghost

Dating apps made it easy to the ghost — or cut off all communication with — someone you’re no longer interested in. Slipping out of the party undetected? That also counts as ghosting.

Ghosting is basically rejection, only without the finality. It is when someone stops answering your texts or calls without explanation. This often happens out of nowhere. It can leave you feeling confused, hurt, and paranoid.

GOAT

Often accompanied by the requisite goat emoji (🐐 ), GOAT is an acronym for “greatest of all time,” and pops up a lot when people start arguing about sports. Think Serena Williams or LeBron James.

INTRODUCING GLASS ENTERPRISE EDITION 2
Glass is a small, lightweight wearable computer with a transparent display for hands-free work.
You might remember Glass as a strange 2013 footnote, but Glass has stuck around: it became an enterprise-targeted device in 2017 and has been used in a variety of other assistive ways.
