Book Review – Sugar and Ice and All That’s Nice

What’s in the Book?

Now that’s one title that rhymed well that too when I was in a mood to enjoy my drink and sing. Are you looking for scrumptious summer coolers cocktails and yummy desserts then this is the book to read for sure. So here comes our savior to tackle all our summer coolers and tasty desserts. Harjeet from WordSmithkaur.com has given us lots of ways to cooler summer time. In her latest EBook, Sugar and Ice and All That’s Nice released as a part of the Blog chatter EBook Carnival, contains a variety of mocktails and desserts suited to cool down the summer heat.

Why this Book?

Mango Juice-King of Juices, Aam Panna, Mango Popsicles are regular in my house. I loved the innovative Raw Mango Iced Tea or Aam Panna Iced Tea which is an awesome combo of my both favourite things.

Some very new mocktails I found are – Gond Katira or Tragacanth Gum Drink, Taati Munjalu / Ice Apple Sherbet and Creamy Mango Sago Floats, Mango Sago Pearl Swirl, Jamun Popsicles and Pineapple Crème Caramel Pudding are totally new and innovative recipes.

I would have soaked more in the desserts if the layered pudding had all layers with pics.

The Pics are drool-worthy, and tempting. All in all the book is worth reading and trying all the recipes for the scorching summers. My bad luck is that to tell you the truth I stay in the hill station and rarely have summers so I crave for all these delicacies. Wish to try them soon. It’s funny but after reading so many yummy recipes of mocktails and desserts I now realise the importance of summers in life. Har ek season jaruri hota hai.
