IWSG september surprise
Hello bloggers! It’s the first Wednesday of the month and we know what that means it’s time for another meeting of the Insecure Writers Support Group – #IWSG.
I recently discovered The Insecure Writer’s Support Group. Their mission is to recognize the dark moments of the writing process and the writer’s life and connect people to each other. They help writers find and build a support network. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak.
September 6 Question: Have you ever surprised yourself with your writing? For example, by trying a new genre you didn’t think you’d be comfortable in??
The awesome co-hosts for the September 6 posting of the IWSG are Tyrean Martinson, Tara Tyler, Raimey Gallant, and Beverly Stowe McClure!
Writing for IWSG with my fears alongside but for sure IWSG helping me to be more confident and expressive.
As far as the question is concerned, yes I have surprised myself with my writing. I was surprised when I was able to write rhythmically and created few short poems.
I always loved writing but fear of rejection or insecurity of not getting liked was always there. But still, I never give up, because writing helps me explore more of myself.
So I started writing a line and suddenly rhythmic words started to follow naturally that’s’ when I found the poet in me.
I still fear to post my poems as i think they dont have the required rhythm as other poets have but still i try and write.
